Heinrich Residence - Obsidian City Outskirts

Gale sighed as she adjusted the fishnet attire Heinrich had repeatedly told her was fairly common at these affairs. And being this wasn't the first one she'd been to with him, she'd seen he wasn't completely wrong. Not completely right, as the attire choices were as eclectic as the lighting seemed to be. But, she couldn't complain, as every time he wanted to go to one of these things, he offered to give her scales a serious scrubbing and buffing on them. Which always ended up feeling extra nice afterwards.

Looking over at Asteri, Gale wondered what their fox companion thought of the whole thing.

Asteri felt Gale’s gaze on her, and she giggled in response. She had taken like a fish to water to the dressing up. Which, admittedly, she wasn’t in much. She had taken a fancy to a certain bunny outfit, but felt like a jacket and rather minimalist shorts would finish the deal. And fishnets. Gotta love the fishnets. “So, where is this Rave at? Is it with Kol- er, Nyt… Whoever the DJ’s name is?”

Personally, she wondered how Heinrich was preparing. She just hoped he was ready for a wild night, because that’s what she was preparing for.

As usual with each night that he went out to such events, Heinrich was pulling out all the stops. Black cargos with white stripes to light up under the blacklights, a black shirt with intricate white pattern, and matching converse shoes. To top it all off, he had a black leather jacket with hood, complete with more white detailing and some glow in the dark bracelets for added accessories.

Whipping out his shades, and getting his gloves, his wallet and such were made sure to be had. Heinrich had an excited grin on his face as he was getting to take not one, but two of his favorite lovers with him to a Rave. Talos had told him that Nytemare was playing tonight, so he knew the music was going to be all out tonight. “And underlevel utility chambers, one that the government turns a blind eye to being used for these as long as any mess is cleaned up afterwards. And no one does anything too illegal, since even they know that people need an outlet.”

"I still don't get why you have me wear these." Gale stated, pulling at the fishnet crop top she was wearing, with a pair of 'x' patches on her nippples. Kind of silly since she was going out with her piercings on. Of course, then there was the fishnet leggings under the overly short skirt she was wearing.

"I could go in something I feel more appropriate for such parties, you know." She pointed out as they walked. Not that she was worried about the legality, just not wanting to be on the detail clearing out anyone who decided that they didn't want to listen to the authorities after the party was over.

“What IS appropriate, then?” Asteri teased Gale. “Personally, I feel like between me and you, everyone’s gonna be thinking we’re the stars of the show. And THIS dummy-” At that, she turned and wrapped herself around Heinrich’s arm, all but shoving said arm between her cleavage, almost pulling the top down, “-is gonna be our escort. Isn’t that right, Belmes?”

Yeah, Asteri was excited. She didn’t know how raves worked in Obsidian City, but if they were anything like Andraeste, it’d be a lot of fun. Okay. The Night Raves for Andraeste. The day raves often turned into square dancing. ...Which, depending on the partner, she was fine with, too.

But anyways! Lots of dancing. Lots of playing with Heinrich and Gale. Drinking, too. All in all, this was going to be a good night. ...She had her noise cancelling earphones, right?

“I’d be lying if I said my suggestions weren’t biased, but almost anything goes, and really tends to rotate some around who’s DJing that night. On top of just what groups show up as they tend to run with themes at times with their outfits.” Heinrich was quick to shift his arm to being around the waist instead, before doing the same with Gale. “That being said, you’re both stunning, so don’t worry. Let me be your driver tonight, and the man at arms for your quest to party tonight.”, he added with eccentric goofy fashion.

Gale couldn't stop herself from laughing. "So, you're gonna be our Dragoon huh?" She mused, grinning. "Well, you do ride a Vaigarin on the regular..." She pondered and nodded. "I suppose it's apt."

Asteri giggled as Heinrich effectively hugged her, as she reached out with an arm and grabbed his shades. “Now, we could be asking YOU what you’re wearing. You look like one of those goofy pop or jazz singers my grandfather on Mama’s side kept on going about. Something about a… Filler? Thriller? Uhm.” At that, Asteri put a finger on her chin, glasses poking down from their hold. “It was something that ended in ‘-iller.’ I know that much.” She frowned for a moment, before she brightened back up. “Anyways! No shades while driving! It’s already night, and no need to make something dark even darker!” Nevermind that the Geist had that covered. Asteri was just using this as an excuse to have the glasses.

“I for one, was going more for a mission improbable kind of look. I’m much cooler than Mike Jackel anyways, despite the lack of a singing voice, but I have more skill on the strings.” Heinrich said in a playful reply, as he slid the shades gently onto her face, “Take care of those for me, they look good on you.”

“As for being a Dragoon my dear, I’ll try and remember my lance and platemail next time. Now, are we ready to go, all jokes aside?”, he added as he replied to Gale’s comment.

Gale nodded. "As ready as I can be considering." She mused, curious to see how this evening's party would turn out, with Asteri along for the ride.

“Mhm!” Asteri replied, as she took off the glasses and slid them on the fabric between her cleavage. Sure, she could’ve fit it in her pants, but she didn’t want to sit on them. “And if you’re dressing in armor, I’d want to dress in my cleric outfit!” Thankfully, no one was making a move to change outfits, so Asteri was safe. She felt around her neck, finding the headphones in place. Good. While she loved music and all that, speakers tended to be a bit loud for her ears; these headphones were great in that they just made the sound bearable.

Nodding at Heinrich and Gale, she bounced outside the double doors, her feet brushing across the pine straw that dotted the sidewalk. When she got near the jeep, she turned around and asked Heinrich: “Is there anything we have to say, or something? Something cheesy and speaksesy?”

“Princes usually save the speeches for war, times of need, or pinnacle moments… I wouldn’t really consider any of those.”, he answered with a chuckle as he beeped the jeep to unlock. Heinrich climbed into the driver seat, “I will say though, that I’ve never had the honor of being the driver of such fine ladies, such as yourselves.”

A playful wink was given as he waited for them to enter the jeep as well, then drove down their drive, and out of the woods. In truth, despite being at night, the prince just enjoyed taking drives in general. This may seem like an average drive, but they were relaxing, not to mention going somewhere with women he loved quite deeply.

Gale smiled as she settled into the jeep, and let the road distract her from the thoughts crossing her mind. Most of them little nothings, but a couple were deeper in nature and scope. Heinrich had yet to spill on his little 'surprise' for her. And while he wasn't asking as much about Vaigarin anatomy these days, leaving her to wonder what was going on. Especially as she was still quite certain he was working towards a Vaigarin body for himself.

Asteri gave Heinrich a blank look. “Why would you give a speech at a rave?” She had taken the passenger seat, largely because she was the better fit between her and Gale- Gale’s wings were very space-intensive. Anyways…

“I was talking about a code word, dummy. Y’know, like how speakeasies work? Something from a silly drama about criminals trying to evade the police? Shemlock Belmes, season 36, episode 49?” ...Granted, she couldn’t fault him for not remembering that. Season 36 was honestly a letdown compared to season 35.

Asteri also blinked as a thought came to her. “Is Jaimon’s open this time of night?” So? She liked ice cream with alcohol. Before or after was fine.

“The drive thru is usually open most of the night at least, though are you sure you want to have dairy before a party? Those neon lights are going to be highlighting more than just the markings on your outfit if you do.~” The teasing was strong, but he was seriously seeing if she was sure about getting ice cream right now. Heinrich wasn’t going to say no, but he was also sure she was already well aware of what would likely happen.

“Afterwaaards is fiiiine. Can you just imagine trying to taste alcohol after having ice cream?” Asteri then frowned. “And besides, I really don’t want to be uncomfortable in this top while dancing.” Nevermind the wetness. She also didn’t want her top to feel too small.

Gale rolled her eyes at the pair. "I still don't see the fascination the two of you have for that stuff. Much less you Asteri, with how your body reacts to basically every milk-product under the sun." She said, shaking her head as she returned her gaze to the roadside as it flew by.

“I meaaaaan, you just don’t understand how good it feels to both be full and to be drained. Especially when someone is drinking directly~!” At that, Asteri calmed down a bit. “But yeah, I do kinda have to be careful what I eat and drink. Though, don’t worry. Something like pizza or anything like that isn’t that bad. It’s just when the dairy content is above a certain… threshold? Level?” At that, Asteri shrugged at Gale.

Gale snorts. "No more cheese pizzas for you then. Also, would you two please stop putting all those bottles of her milk in the fridge?" She said, giving Asteri a friendly glare. The last time they'd ordered pizza, they'd gotten a Cheese for Asteri, and the result had been... not the most pleasant for Gale, who had to clean up while Heinrich got Asteri's output under control.

They were almost all the way over the bridge now, the lights of the city glowing over the top edge of the armored walls. Heinrich tried not to giggle as they drove, finding the back and forth quite entertaining, “Look at the bright side, we save on milk from the store, and it doesn’t taste bad either.” The grin on his face was slightly mischievous, enjoying such milk runs maybe just a bit too much.

Asteri stuck out a tongue at Heinrich. “I’ve been told that what I make is better than an Auroch!” She stopped, eyebrows crinkling as another thought came to her. “Also that I make more than one, too.” After a moment’s thinking, she waved her hand in dismissal. “Eh! No idea what they’re talking about! Anyways, Belmes, Daddy sent me a message asking me to thank you for offering to pay the extra costs for classes.”

And maybe that massage training she was sneaking in without anyone knowing. ...Totally not costing an extra little bit of money. Nope.

“ ...And could you please convince him that he doesn’t need to pay you back?”

Gale quietly chuckled as she settled in to watch the city approach, glad that she was able to see all the displays and such of the cities' nightlife as they traveled over the crest of the road. Were she without a geist, it would just be solid obsidian faced buildings climbing up into the sky with nothing to differentiate them from their fellows.

“You mean the money I already mailed back two days ago? I don’t like being handed extra, makes me feel weird, even if it’s spare. I was raised to never ask others for anything unless I needed too, and to only ever give, or take what was needed.”

In all fairness, Heinrich had no need to live like that, or be so exact in such a way for a very long time. He lived as a prince, a life of royalty and plenty, but he still tried to work for all he had. The fathers may have changed, but he was always going to hold onto the merits his actual father had taught him.

Asteri’s face very visibly showed her relief, even when she was muttering in an irritated voice: “I told dad that he didn’t have to worry, and all that. But he seems determined to think that he owes you something. Nevermind that I even tried explaining it in terms of business, like you’re training me to be your healer.” After muttering a couple more choice things to herself, she perked back up as she looked around where they were driving. The great thing with Geists was that they could customize what they saw, at least in Obsidian City; though, admittedly, Asteri left most of the stuff on default.

“Anyways, what in general does the DJ play? I know some who specialize in rap, sometimes just R&D, my brother even took me to a punk concert!” Asteri giggled after saying that. “Lots of headbanging. Looots of it!” She tilted her head back and forth, before continuing on: “Music was good, though.” She hummed a bit, before turning back to Gale, and asking: “What’re the chances of there being Vaigarins at this party?”

Gale shook her head. "Not many Vaigarin come to Obsidian City. Mostly because they dislike the blank flatness of the city. Few have begun to adopt Geists, so they're left seeing tall structures lacking anything to identify them, not to mention with how tall they are, they are worried of them collapsing upon them." She said, shrugging.

"So if you do see any Vaigarin at the party, they're going to be the exception, and likely recently released from childhood. Meaning they're going to be young, wild, and easily impressionable." She continued, smiling. "Though some would claim I'm the same despite being nearly 90."

“Like company and all that, so I think we’re well aware dear.”, Heinrich gave simply with a small stick out of the tongue. The drive into the city was calm and quiet, few cars on the road this late at night at times, and not nearly as many as during the day. It would be a brief drive from the gates to where they were going to park, a warehouse that was acting as a makeshift indoor parking lot. There, the prince would park them in the first spot available, before leading them to a maintenance entrance tunnel to the understructure.

“I can tell you the spookiness of these tunnels, despite being at least somewhat lit. It’s a real mood setter, perfect for coming into the dark chamber down here full of neon strobes, and laser pointers. The bit of a walk does make it worth it honestly, as the final destination, as it is dubbed. Is quite worth the sight it offers.” He would say this as he waved to the person on watch at the entrance, likely a maintenance worker who knew the codes to the place, waving people in with a signal wand.

The tunnels were rigid, utilitarian, machinery peeking from every nook and cranny, as well as being entirely metal alloys. It was even as dark as mentioned, but still somehow comfortably visible, even more so with those who had natural lower light vision. Their shoes and boots faintly clinked on the grated walkways, following a trail of chemlights left along the path until they were greeted by the described chamber. It was a three floor tall space lined with ducts and fiber optic cables, as well as some other utility connections that could be identified. What few consoles were down here, had been given tamper proof coverings, or covered over with booths and decorations of various sorts.

Gale smiled as they stepped through. One of the few good things in her mind. She might not have the ability to see well in low light conditions, but one thing she could enjoy and even respect, was the lighting once they reached the actual chamber in which the whole thing was occurring.

"The one thing I think I like, is that despite the travel into the clubs every time, the lighting always makes things more interesting and enjoyable. If only because the lighting always makes your eyes shift around and focus on every bit of bright attire and painting." She said, smiling as the thronging mass below as they entered the chamber atop one of the maintenance catwalks that housed the stairs leading down.

Asteri, meanwhile, was looking around wide-eyed, as they passed the various arcane-seeming machinery. Asteri was a cler- er, a nurse, not an engineer, dang it! Though, what alerted Asteri to the fact that they were nearing the party itself was her twitching ears as they started registering the noises coming from the speakers. She looked at Heinrich and Gale from time to time, wondering if they heard it too. However, since Gale was speaking, Asteri didn’t want to interrupt, staying quiet, keeping her gaze locked onto Gale.

...It was a good thing Heinrich caught her as she almost tipped over the catwalk railing. Should’ve paid attention to where I was walking! Asteri flushed heavily, as she clung to Heinrich. Which was soon forgotten as she saw the disco. Asteri rushed up to the very same railing that tried to kill her, and looked with wide eyes at this party, this ‘rave,’ in front of her.

The lights were wild, with black lights on full tilt to accentuate the darker shadows of the chamber. Cords lined with hanging chemlights were crisscrossed from the walls above, giving a surprisingly diverse kaleidoscope of color. The bass was thumping hard enough to be felt through the deck plating, vibrating under their feet and through the railing before them. Heinrich was grinning wildly, in his element here as a party boy, despite his professional job as a teacher. It always made running into students, quite the funny sight at how they reacted to seeing “teach’” among the participants.

The awe was interrupted though as a man in climbing gear, urban attire, a hoodie, full gas mask, and decked out in a bandolier of spray paints which glowed where they dripped. He rappled down the wall, to settle onto the catwalk beside them with a soft clank, before stepping forward putting an arm around Heinrich. A muffled chuckle was heard from under the mask as he gestured excitedly, “It’s so good you could make it bro, and you even brought some of the girls with you tonight! Kolo will be happy to know her nephew in law showed up for her show tonight. So tell me man, planning to get down with your girls, and show them what these events are all about?”

“I can’t remember if you’ve met him before, but I know I’ve already introduced Asteri. But this is my uncle Talos, who also works at the university as the headmaster.”, the crown prince replied, even as Talos lowered the mask to show his face. Hair that was black with snow white streaks, and eyes of one red, one blue, looked back in greeting with a smile. “Pleasure to see you again ladies.”, Talos replied.

Gale chuckled. "I've been doing the remote classes, Professor Talos. Mostly because I'm kept busy enough with my work. All facets of it." She said, smiling. It wasn't like she hid what she did work wise. She was not only an officer in the Royal Corps, a combat certified pilot, but also a prostitute (some called her a Courtesan to be 'nice'), and liaison between the NDC and the Bahum Family.

"Of course, Heinrich keeps finding ways to drag me to these things." She said, grinning. "Not that he doesn't know how to find ways to make it worth my time even if I don't always enjoy it to start."

Asteri had spent a good long minute staring at Talos, blinking all the while. But she snapped out of her stunned stupor when he began talking. She just shook her head, and let Gale speak first, though she did wave cheerily at Talos when Heinrich introduced her. After Gale finished, Asteri smiled at the Vaigarin. “Well, we wouldn’t have to drag you if you didn’t dig your feet in!” At that, Asteri stuck out a tongue at Gale. “I know it’s always fun to just let loose for a night.” At that, she looked at Heinrich, and arched her eyebrow at him, tails swishing. “Though, I must agree; Belmes has his ways of making things fun if they aren’t fun, and funner if they already are.”

Asteri giggled at that, before turning back to face Talos. “And hello to you too, Professor! Please don’t tell me you intend to dump those canisters of dreadfully stinky cans on us in the middle of the party!” At that, she stuck out her tongue at him again. She shuffled a bit as the bass boomed out again. Yep, definitely a good idea to bring the headphones. Though, her ears were twitching merrily.

“Okay for one, it’s not “professor”, it's headmaster. I don’t actually have a degree, I just make sure the school keeps running well administratively. Also these aren’t stinking, they’re paint, so maybe look up if you want to see the show I add to the party.” The hooded bicolored man said, before gesturing a thumb up towards the ceiling, which got Heinrich to tilt his head back and look up at least.

Above them, was a sort of elaborate paint job to the ceiling that glowed fluorescently, and clearly was being added down the walls too. “Wow. Busy bee much, uncle? I suppose you’re going to do the walls next too?”Heinrich asked as he gazed up, then looked around. Once he was done, he stepped back over to the girls, before putting an arm around each one.

Asteri looked inquisitively at the prof- er, headmaster. “You mean you’re NOT wearing a gas mask to not choke on the glowing paint?” Yes, yes, there was aesthetic as well. But it would have been charming to see him mix together functionality with aesthetic! She looked up, regardless, as she took note of all the colors in their intricate patterns. Or it could have just been senseless chaos. Either way, it looked very beautiful!

The fox girl giggled a bit as Heinrich put an arm around her, leaning into him as she complimented Talos: “You did an excellent job with the art, headmaster! Though, I do have to ask, if you are doing the walls, do you have enough paint to do it? Don’t make yourself so tired that you can’t actually enjoy the party~!”

Galestrix gave a glance up, and nodded in appreciation of the material above. "The lighting really does make it pop. Something to be said about the physical art that you just can't get with AR art." She said aloud, giving Heinrich a none too subtle nudge on the subject, owing she knew he'd simply grown up with the augmented reality of the world for a long while, whereas she was still adapting.

"Still, we should probably mingle now, instead of blocking the entryway much longer." She said, glancing behind at the trickle of people behind them following the similar markings towards the rave.

“Aye aye aye, get along then, I should get back to it anyways while the night is young. Also don’t worry about me getting tired my future niece, I was and technically to an extent still am military, plus I always stock up for these events. If I disappear, I’m refilling from my stashed crate, now excuse me while I get to it.” With that, the man donned his mask again and began to climb the pipes like a pro once more. Once a ways up, he’d launch the cable and winch himself up back to the rafter.

With that, Heinrich went with the girls, following Gale as she led them down into the throng of party goers. People were wearing a menagerie of outfits in various styles of black, with mesh, netting, leather, latex, neon paint, or even decorations of white accents that glowed under the black lights. There were also a lot of glow sticks among them, dangling and swinging with each energetic movement, or waving wildly in gripping hands. The energy was intense, and people were fully into it on the dance floor.

The bars and seating around were a different story though, sitting aside in similar dress. Most were chatting, getting a bit… freaky, or drinking various drinks with fluorescent additives from the looks of it. “I swear these raves have enough energy to power a city if the science could be figured out.”, Heinrich said with a chuckle as they walked around it all. “So what do you girls want to do first?”

Asteri glanced at a couple, the woman sitting in the man’s lap and having a rather.. flushed and blank expression. “That looks… fun.” She winked at Heinrich and Gale, before she was distracted by the dancing. “Ooooh! That looks like a fun dance! I love how they’re managing to twist their arms in such a way! Gale, I remember you telling me you know how to belly-dance?” The fox-girl had a sparkle in her eye, as she bounced on her feet as she faced the pair.

Gale chuckled. "I do, but I don't think I'll be able to get enough room to do so properly on the dance floor. Of course, I also know how to do some fun dances in the lap or on a pole as well, not that they get much showing." She pointed out, an amused grin on her face as she did. Her scales seemed to light up slightly in the blacklights dotting the place, turning an almost blinding snow white coloration.

"As for what they're having," She continued, gesturing to the couple that Asteri had glanced at, "That's usually something me and Heinrich do to help me, what was it you phrased it as?" She said, pausing as she looked back towards Heinrich a moment.

“Foreplay? I wasn’t looking too hard. But from what little I got a glimpse of, looked to be what they were up to in there.”, the crown prince said, a slight reddening at the question. He may be a shameless flirt, but he hadn’t quite gotten to the point of openly talking about their usual mischievous affairs in discrete places at times. That being said, the more Heinrich thought about it, the more he realized he wouldn’t be averse to more public acts like what they just saw.

All of that aside, the party was in full swing, and the topic of dancing was making him rather eager to get in there. Maybe even a few drinks in him too, and he can’t forget the girls either in that department. “Everything aside, do you want me to grab us all drinks? We can find a booth to reserve after, and maybe throw in for some dances.”, the prince said excitedly, always a live wire in such crowds for these events. Perhaps he just corralled his wild side too often, or lacked too few of such events to let it loose enough.

Gale grinned. "A drink sounds good. One of those fireballs please." She requested, politely raising a finger at Heinrich as he offered to get them drinks to start with. And Gale admitted to a fondness of watching people flip out as she took a drink lit on fire wholesale without a problem.

Asteri put a finger to her chin, thinking. “I don’t think they have Andraestean mead. Soo.. hm. I think I’ll have the Solan Whiskey.” After glancing at the couple again, she turned to whisper, admittedly loudly to be heard over the music, to Gale: “Pfft. That’s the weakest foreplay I’ve seen in a while. Play with her breasts, man.” Giggling- admittedly, nervously and reservedly- at that, she turned around and began scanning the area for a booth- one that was unoccupied, and preferably didn’t have any sort of stain on it.

Her tails waved this way and that, occasionally having to pull against her back to make room for others, and her ears twitched a bit as the sound boomed from the speakers as she looked at the various graffitied walls.. “I wonder if we’ll be able to paint on the walls?” No, she didn’t want to paint a masterpiece. ...But not a penis, either. A fun little 3D wordplayery would work just fine.

Heinrich had nodded in confirmation before stepping away to get their order. The bar seats were packed, side by side, with various species of occupants. Some even seated two, as laps were also occupied, but most seemed to be seeking refreshment on their breaks from dancing. Lit by underglows, and a LED counter top, the drinks weren’t the only brightness in this area. Thankfully the generous number of bartenders hired on tonight, it didn’t take long for him to get their drinks.

His was an odd fellow, horned with black sclera behind silver rings for irises. He almost seemed like a demon, possibly easily thought of as a vaigarin if it were not for the lack of a tail and wings. Chalking it up to being a genemod however,he made sure he tipped well as he got the drinks before returning to the others. “They seem well prepared tonight which is nice. Been to a few that were short handed. Still good, but too much backed up traffic at the bar and other services.”, he said upon return, handing over the drinks.

Kolorsha, in her guise of the DJ Nytemare, smiled as the fan’s phone took a selfie. “Awesome! Oh man, Jason is gonna be mad he missed this!” The young human exclaimed. “Well, I can’t resist meeting a fan, myself!” She replied, giving a wave as the human moved off into the crowd. Indeed, she did like meeting her fans, but in addition to these essentially being open houses to new DJs, these underground raves were where she started herself, and she was hardly one to forget her roots. Besides, these were always fun!

She wasn’t scheduled to perform until later that night, however Kolorsha always preferred to mingle with the crowds as much as she could, and these were no exception, so she ambled through the gathering, greeting and taking photos with her fans, turning heads and attracting attention throughout, though that was hardly a surprise, a 9 foot tall anthro clydesdale tended to be hard to miss.

What she was wearing certainly helped keep everyone’s attention

Gale took her drink and without preamble, downed it, fire and all. Grinning as she set down the glass, she looked out over the whole thing. "Well, I hear if you bring the kits and the tools, the painting is good to do. It'll get washed out when this section is scheduled to be converted back into... what was it again Heinrich?" Gale asked, looking over at Heinrich as she attempted to remember if this particular cistern was used for the algae product or just straight water. Or was it waste storage? She couldn't rightly remember.

Asteri wrinkled her nose at Gale’s comment. “Ugh. I bet someone witty could come up with something like ‘art is trash’ or something… Anyways!” She took the drink from Heinrich, smiling, commenting after she took a sip: “Were they understaffed, or simply decided to invite too many people on purpose.” The foxmod winked all-conspiratorial like, continuing: “I mean, after all, what sounds better: ‘Oh, sorry, the party was understaffed so we had trouble getting drinks,’ or ‘yeah, the everyone was at the party- there were so many people at this rave, the servers couldn’t keep up!’”

Glancing at the dance floor again, she turned to Belmes again to make a joke- she stopped, however, upon noticing the enormous horsemod roaming around the room. Yes, there was a fair share of Onikari here, but, well, an anthropomorphic giant tended to stick out more than a humanoid- well, more humanoid than anthropomorphic. In any case, Asteri idly commented: “Well, between the Onikari, you two, and other large genemods, I’m half tempted to just ride on Belmes’ shoulders just to make sure I don’t get bounced by them dancing!” The cheeky little vulpine couldn’t help but bounce herself to emphasize that. Among emphasizing other assets.

Stopping as a thought occurred to Asteri, she turned to Gale: “Though, that reminds me. Gale, have Vaigarins caught onto stuff like this? I would imagine at the very least Fucons would find this entertaining.” She had to lean in closer to make her voice heard, as the music swelled in intensity.
