Carmelian Expanse - Eselberg Station, Kalis System

Despite some reservations, Klaus had come to enjoy his place in Eselberg Station. His family was happy, had a roof over their heads and they were in a position of relative power. He had his card games with Lucas and Tarkus and sparring matches. The occasional merchant tussle. Yet some part of Klaus couldn’t help but yearn for some excitement. For something to happen.

Sooner or later, you’d think he’d learn to shut his mouth.

“I’m sorry, could you repeat that?” he asked the woman, to make sure he had heard correctly.

The woman’s gray eyes bore down on him from beneath her witch’s cap and blood wine red tresses of hair. She wasn’t the strangest looking arrival at the station, but something in Klaus’ hindbrain whispered she was dangerous. Perhaps, it was her feather light steps or the way she stood, not relaxed but coiled tight like a martial artist. Or it could be the great sword she bore on her back, which to even Klaus’ common senses reeked of magic.

“Where is Father Lucas?” she asked, once more her voice, deep and smooth. She crossed her arms, dark metal gauntlets peeking through the greatcoat she wore. “I was told he was on this station.”

Klaus’ eyes narrowed. While she could have a legitimate reason to seek out Lucas, it was better to be safe and sorry.

“Will you hold for a few moments?” At her nod, the elf keyed up his communicator. “Elenor, could you come to Airlock D-17, please? Got a code Pumpkin.”

Elenor, sitting in one of the lesser used office sections of the admin office, was looking over an awful lot of things. Most of which covered some rather... Well, Elenor wasn't exactly someone who thought in religious terms. She tended to think in more witch terms. So trying to figure out how to make a witch coven with a religious motif was not in her normal ballpark. Especially one that was tailored in the way that Lucina & Lucas described their old clergy being way back when.

Then came Klaus' notice. "Code Pumpkin? The fuck is he going on about now?" She muttered, not even sure what the hell a 'code pumpkin' was supposed to be since Klaus seemed to just come up with terms randomly all the time, and change what meant what on a whim it felt like, mostly for his own amusement she was sure. Hitting the key for the comm at the desk, she couldn't help but roll her eyes as it connected. "Mind clarifying Klaus? I haven't the foggiest what a 'code pumpkin' is supposed to be." She said, waiting to hear his response.

Elenor would hear a sigh coming from the comm. “Do you guys not read my security code updates? Pumpkin is ‘possible witch sighting.”

Another voice would be heard more faintly. It sounded… amused? “Oh, you believe me to be a witch?”

“You kinda have the look, lady.” Klaus’ voice rang out once more. There was a pause. “She’s asking for a ‘Father Lucas’. Figured you might wanna know.”

"With you changing them so often, no, I don't. Plus I don't usually get involved." Elenor said, sighing and standing up from the desk and starting to make her way down to the airlock in question. She hadn't yet started 'dressing the part', so she was in her more 'normal' witch-y attire. It took her a little while to get there, mainly because it was an odd spot for a customs check, but eh, it was what it was.

Arriving, she looked at the woman standing in front of Klaus' desk while he sat there. "Well?"

The tall coated woman regarded Elenor fully. Her gray eyes narrowed in the shadow of her wide brimmed hat. She uncrossed her arms unveiling the armor she wore beneath her coat. It was a thing of martial beauty, emphasizing her figure while also protecting her vitals. Beneath the armor, peeked a skin tight suit of deep violet and gold. It was magical in nature that much could Elenor tell. And old.

“So, you must be his new pactee.” she said, eyes staring into the witch’s eyes. “Tell me girl, where is the demon priest?”

Elenor sighed, and pinched her nose. "Depends. Klaus, you did tell her the nature of this station right? I'm not going to have her start a fight here purely over some spat that involves different factions of the Pits." She said, lowering her hand and looking at the woman with no anger, no disgust, just exhaustion. Like this was something that cropped up so often that she was just tired of having to deal with it repeatedly.

"Oh, and miss, I'd like for you to explain why you're wishing to see Lucas." She stated, though, when last Elenor checked, it was Lucina who was busy working on the habits... Making sure they looked right, at least, if Elenor remembered what the 'cubi had been saying. She was more busy focusing on trying to figure out what rules and what things to integrate into the induction circle... She may need to talk to Orias for some help to make something that was manageable or at the very least installable in a selected room on the station... Actually, the room would simplify the process a lot since she wouldn't have to remember the pattern every time…

“I did. But-“ Klaus said, before the woman interjected.

“But my actions are my own, pact bearer and no others. I come to uphold my vow. To find Lucas and to judge him once more.” the woman said, the heels of her greaves tapping on the airlock metal as she stepped forward.

“Hold it!” Klaus shouted, rising from his seat, hand outstretched in warning while his other reached for his holster. The woman stopped, turning slightly to appraise him, hands akimbo and steady.

Elenor groaned. "Would you two knock it off? And judge Lucas for what? Also, my name is Elenor. Not 'pact bearer'." She said, pointing a finger at each of them, though the focus was definitely on the woman. "And what's your name hmmm?"

“You are fast, elf.” the woman said, addressing Klaus first. “I’m sure we’d have a fine battle. But I have no quarrel with you.” Klaus remained silent, brow furrowed.

“As for my name, cat witch, it is Melissa. That is all you need to know. This is between me and the good Father.” she growled the last word, voice tinged with emotion. “Now out of my way. I will see him.”

Klaus drew his sidearm with the prenatural speed of elves. “Lady, that’s my friend you’re threatening. Back off.”

Elenor sighed. "You two need to calm the actual fuck down already." She ordered, crossing her arms under her bust and over her pregnant belly. "And the 'good Father' also happens to be the being I'm pacted to, so it does happen to concern me." She pointed out. "So until you tell me what you're doing here, I'm not even going to tell Lucas you're on the station and that you wish to speak to him." She explained further.

Melissa smirked and backed slightly. “So, he IS here on this station. Good to know. Thank you, Elenor.” With a flourish of her hands, the swordswoman faded into transparency and then disappeared from all sight.

Klaus tucked his gun back, pointing it up. “Now that’s a new one.”

Elenor groaned and pinched her nose even harder. "Oh for fucks sake.." She grumbled, before looking at Klaus. "You sir, are going to be talking to your wife about how quick you're being to threaten people during Customs." The flat delivery of her voice as she pointed at Klaus should have been quite the hint to him that he was in trouble. "In the meantime, I have to figure out just where she went now."

With that said, Elenor began to trundle her way back towards the living quarters. Picking up her comm, she keyed it to Lu. "You apparently have an old 'friend' coming to 'judge you' now." She said, curious what was gonna happen now. Especially if this 'Melissa' character ran into Lucina instead of Lucas.

Said female counterpart was in fact eyeing said woman at the foot of their bed, where she had been intimately cozied up with their maid Abigail. “Sigh Yes, she's here, in the bedroom. Hello Melissa, long millennia no see, what do you want?”, Lucina asked, tone annoyed and limp like her libido now from the intrusion. “At least call ahead or send a postcard, if you're just going to walk in without even an astral knocking. Makes being caught wet handed less awkward for everyone involved.”

“...Who are you?” Melissa demanded. This demon of the flesh acted as if she knew her. There was something familiar on her, admittedly fetching visage. “Are you part of this coven of sinful debauchery? Where is Father Lucas?!” It took all her restraint to not draw her sword.

Elenor sighed, changing just where she was headed to get to her and Lu's house. "Why does that no fucking surprise me?" She'd be some time with having to waddle with a purpose through the station. Meaning that well... Lucina was on her own until she could get there.

“Best way I can describe it? You're looking at him, and me. I'm kind of his significant other, outside the preg wife you met. Two souls, same being, two flavors of figure. Fun perk I guess of getting raped by an archdemon, minus the trauma of course”, Lucina casually just began to explain, leaning back against the pillows now propped under her against the headrest. Meanwhile, Abigail remained nervously quiet, her rabbit ears kept down.

“... I see.” the swordswoman said, clearly not expecting this turn of events. “So that’s what happened to you after…”

She seemed lost in her memories, before she composed herself. “Very well then. Father Lucas, you who have consorted with demons, corrupted the holy clergy, our sacred warriors and devout followers. I know of your choice, and why you did it. Thus I have not hunted you over the years. But news travels far between the realms of the demonic and wyrd. I have heard the tale of a new coven, with trappings of a long ago divine order.”

Melissa unsheathed her blade, the metal old and battered, but flowing and shining with magicks most powerful. She rested the point of the blade on the ground, the skull pommel resting between her hands. “I have come to ask and judge thee. Why have you done this? Has corruption become your desire now? Answer me!“

“Ahhhh, that's why you're here. My wife wanted to expand her coven, and I chose the uniforms, not him. Mostly just to get the local archangel's lesbian bloomers in a twist. Our members offer therapy, eromancy, and intimate companionship at their choosing. All consensually.” Lucina began to yawn a little after the explanation, “The new arch who killed the last one actually suggested the whole thing to the wife.”

Abigail was slowly easing herself off the bed while Mistress was explaining things, thinking that maybe she should possibly see about offering refreshments for the unexpected, but apparently familiar guest.

“... I have heard of the new Demon Queen Orias. I am aware of her reputation.” Melissa said, after a long pause. “To choose those outfits to antagonize an angel… Could this be Father Lucas’ mischievous side manifesting himself?” she mused to herself.

The former holy warrior looked at the adorable bunny girl, her senses gazing over her, noting details beyond the flesh and the soul. “Was this the cause with you girl? Did you ask to get change of your own will?”

Abigail froze and shook her head. "No. However, I was... Well... Let us just say that the old me was not precisely a paragon of virtue. Or decency. Or..." Abigail trailed off, her old self having been absolutely the lowest of the low, and their current state being a, 'accelerating' of the karma they had accrued being paid early.

“Welllll, Abigail was more a case of cause and effect”, Lucina chimed in, scratching her chin in thought about that particular situation. “That was the wife's doing. I would have done worse, and far more painful. They had approached her demanding sexual acts while threatening violence. So as punishment, Elenor cast a karmic transfiguration ritual on them.”

“We then took her in as our maid, technically as an indentured servant at first, but she's part of the family now and our lover”, the succubus added.

“This does not look well on the situation, you realize?” Melissa asked, eyebrow raised beneath the brim of her hat. She sighed. “Allow me to guess, that even if you were offered a life elsewhere, you are actually happy here with the witch and the demon, correct?”

“I do not sense falsehoods, but the plot thickens.” she thought out loud.

Abigail gave a bow to the apparently irate demoness. "I am, especially to serve as penance for the person I was. Is there anything you'd like for me to get you while you're present madam?" The bunny girl figured she would offer now since she was on her feet and halfway to the door of the room anyways.

“I am fine, Abigail. Thank you.” Melissa nodding at her. Her gauntlet talons pinged rhythmically as she tapped the pommel of her great sword. “I believe I am ready to pass judgment. Out of regard for you, I shall wait for your wife to get here, Female Lucas.”

“Is it technically passing judgment on both of us, or just Lucas? I would shift to let you talk to him, but well..”, Lucina asked curiously, before lowering the covers to bare herself a bit, but also uncover her enlarged belly. “So you saw the wife was preg, but I am too, and can’t shift until the baby is born.”

Speaking of said wife, the door to the domain soon opened. "Abigail! Please tell me they haven't started fighting!" She called out, steadily working her way into the home.

"No Mistress! They're in the bedroom talking still!" Abigail said from the kitchen preparing some tea and a few biscuits.

Elenor nodded, not that Abigail was going to see it as she redirected her waddling to the bedroom.

Melissa looked at both of the pregnant women with a befuddled expression. “I must admit of all the possible outcomes of today, I was not expecting… this.” She gestured vaguely to the situation.

“Since Father Lucas cannot be produced at the moment, and given the circumstances, I shall delay my judgment henceforth.” the swordswoman declared sheathing her ancient blade in her back again.

“Elenor, was it? To whom should I speak to for living accommodations on this station?”

Elenor snorted. "I get the feeling you'd want to keep a close eye on the two of us to make sure we aren't planning any corruption or some such... So while I would normally say Setsuya up in Administration, I imagine you'll want to talk to us to simplify things." She said. Her guess that it would just be easier to set up Melissa in this little pocket dimension than getting her quarters of her own elsewhere on the station.

“Ah this is almost nostalgic, it reminds me of when I had my son Absolon, and a cleric decided to pick a fight just because I’m a demon. Plus they thought me pregnant was an easy target. He should be old enough now to hit his rebellious phase I suppose, wondering if that encounter had any unforeseen influence. Really hope my son isn’t playing some game of thrones somewhere”, Lucina said idly, commenting on the situation. “Lisa thankfully was always the sweet one.”

“Of course. To render judgement now without him here would be unfair. Besides, I wish to see what you make of this coven.” Melissa shifted lightly, crossing her arms. “While it is not the holy and clear path of former clergy, your coven’s goals are not without merit. So long as you respect the free will of others we shall have no issues.”

Elenor nodded with a wry grin. "Kind of our focus. And I'm not sure I want to know that kind of thing about your previous kids Lucina. No offense, but making me feel kind of inadequate about this with that." She pointed out. "As for you Melissa, once I've gotten my energy back, I can drag Lucina over to help us set you up a room. Though, I get the distinct feeling that you might be of... 'help' to us trying to set this thing up. Knowing our luck, it wasn't just coincidence that you happened to hear about us starting this up before we'd even actually begun the actual recruiting." She said, referring to a particular motherly patron.

Lucina gave a pout from the bed, “I can’t help it, I'm so damn old” she mumbled grumpily. “The mistress is the one who proposed the idea, she is here too…. Also pregnant… Long story. As for rooms, our bed’s big enough, and I’d rather not chance leaving her alone with the mischievous mistress.” She wasn’t fond of the idea of getting up already vexed and blue balled at being interrupted in her own home, then forced to struggle out of bed to prepare space for her very intrusion. “Besides, I’m still angy you interrupted private time without even an apology yet”, the succubus added with no restraint to her lingering pout.

“Beings of such power do tend to architect such things, either for their amusement or benefit.” Melissa said, senses focusing on the nature of their home. “While it’s not my expertise I do believe I can aid you, nonetheless. A single bed room would suffice.”

Turning towards Lucina, the demoness sighed, a hand reaching up to adjust her hat. “I must decline your offer. I merely delayed my judgement. I must still speak to him.”

Elenor looked over at Lucina and gave her a 'Pull the other one' look that spoke volumes about her opinion of what Lucina was suggesting just that moment. Then again, the idea of getting to know Lucas' old pupil more did appeal. "Ya know, it might be a while before you can talk to him persay. I'm not quite sure how long these'll last, and Lucina got the lump around the same time I did." Elenor explained, gesturing to their bellies as she did.
