Empty Void - Medusa Subsector
Fallen Shrine Galley
Sophia grumbled as she pulled out a pallet from the pantry attached to the galley. She wasn't feeling up for another round of ration packets, so she was going to try her hand at cooking. Which she was sure to cause scorn and hate from the rest of the crew, but hey, she was awake, she had her coffee even! So they could suck up her trying to have something more than rations. And she wasn't going for anything fancy either! A simple stew really. So the pallet had some beef stock, a slab of hamburger, some greens and a few roots. Picking up the knife out of the knife caddy, she got started cutting up the meat and greens/roots while the stock was turned into a broth and the meat defrosted enough for her to actually cut it up into chunks. Which of course meant that folks outside the galley were going to get a nice smell of beef warming up.
The Display in the corner of the galley, was set to one of the movies they had in the ship's database. Something about some grown human living amongst a bunch of tiny sykian's then being sent to a major urban center filled with humans who didn't believe half his talk of his life. It was kind of a stupid funny film, but she was mostly letting it play for hte background noise.
